London's 3!!
The morning I went in to be induced with this tiny best friend is so clear in my mind. I have never been more excited for anything in my life than to become a mom. I remember thinking that I had prepared my whole life to become a mom, and I was beyond excited, and a little terrified.
Then, when they placed her in my arms, I remember looking at her and thinking there is just no way my heart could handle any more love. I felt like it was going to burst out of my body.
3 years later, I love her a million times more than even the first time I met her. She just keeps getting better. Don't get me wrong, her and her terrible two's about put me in an insane asylum, but I seriously am obsessed with how incredibly sweet and perfect she is. The innocence and spirit of a child is addicting, its peaceful, and so comforting in the midst of all this world's craziness.
My heart somehow manages to keep loving you more and more even when I don't think its possible, London.
Thank you for making me a mom for the first time, and for making me laugh everyday.
We love you, sis.
Here's to leaving those terrible two's.. in the two's!! :)
We took her to Chuck up Cheese
... ahem..
I mean Chuck E Cheese on her actual birthday, and then had a pool party for her a couple of days later with her friends.
We celebrated all weekend. A girl worth celebrating, that's for sure.
she admired her cupcake on the warm sidewalk for a good 5 minutes
so, we might have had the same idea on what "pool party attire" meant :)
these girls are the greatest! squeeze their guts.
Happy Birthday London!
Now... what to do for Ivory's 1st party?!
I need ideas.. easy ideas!
Have a great week!!!
